FMO Companies is now the Wendemen Group
The FMO Companies announced their name change to the WENDEMEN GROUP, INC. beginning in March of 2008. Due to the continued growth and development of the organization, CEO and Founder, W. Todd Menke identified the need to re-brand the companies in order to bring focus to their core business units, General Contracting and Civil Engineering. WENDEMEN GROUP, INC. is the parent company of WENDEMEN CONSTRUCTION, INC. and WENDEMEN ENGINEERING, INC. The company’s unique and exclusive combination of civil engineering, project management, general contracting and construction management services creates a highly efficient and synergistic approach to real estate development projects. Menke says that some of their clients choose to separately hire either the engineering company or the construction company depending on project needs, however, those clients that choose to hire both have found the “one-stop-shop” approach to meet their civil engineering and construction needs to be a tremendous advantage that generally saves them time and money.
The four year old Sarasota based company enjoyed a 430% growth in revenues from 2006 to 2007, and they boast an impressive list of clients, including Home Depot, Armstrong/CVS, American Momentum Bank, Burger King and several private retail and office development companies. Currently, WENDEMEN is working on civil engineering and construction projects throughout Southwest and Central Florida. Ken Knapp will continue to serve as the CFO for Wendemen Group, Inc. and Andrew Morse was named Vice President. In addition, Mark Card was promoted to President of Wendemen Construction, Inc. and Ryan Hirstein was promoted to President of Wendemen Engineering, Inc.
